ASTER Women’s Chamber Choir presents “Surprising Shakespeare”

Saturday, October 28th at 2 PM at the AUDI. Click here for a PDF copy of the Program.

Shakespeare has influenced playwrights and composers from the time his plays were first performed (in London around 1592) to the present day. ASTER will offer pieces heard during Shakespeare’s lifetime, a charming set of acapella works by composer Amy Beach, a jazzy set by Clifford Stillwell, Jr., and excerpts from the musicals Kiss Me Kate and West Side Story. Actors will perform soliloquies and sonnets to round out the concert.

Admission: $20 Adults, $15 Students and Seniors available at the door and through Humanitix. You can also use this QR code.

The concert will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend in person on this website. Here is the link to BCAH to watch. Select “LIVE’ to view the concert. This link should also work to the live concert.
